Forbury Gardens set for Street Food Festivals this Spring
Forbury Gardens will be hosting a series of street food festivals that will see dozens of unique food and drink stalls in the central Reading park this Spring.
Two ‘Feastivals’ will be running in Forbury Gardens from 30th March to 1st April and 4th May until 6th May. Each event will feature over 20 traders serving up food, craft beers and cocktails – as well as hay bale sofas, a fire pit and other attractions.
The events are being organised by Blue Collar Street Food who deliver the popular Wednesday food market in Reading town centre. The two Spring food festivals following the success of an inaugural event in Forbury Gardens last September.
The organisers behind the event are promising that both events will be even bigger and better. Glen Dining, Founder of Blue Collar Street Food, said: “After being inspired by London’s night markets and street food scene, our aim has always been to bring that to our hometown. At six events this year, we’ll be transforming Forbury Gardens into the home of street food, booze and entertainment – starting with our spring Feastival on Thursday 30th, Friday 31st March and Saturday 1st April.”
Each event will be running from 11am to 11pm. For more information, visit the Blue Collar Street Food website.
